We create a high-level education-rich environment, an opportunity to inspire new ways of thinking while sharing global perspectives about the impact of technology in sport.

    ABOUT:

The intersection of business and technology creates a challenging ethical interpretation for those involved with the well-being of athletes. An athlete centered perspective for technology is an important thought provoking focus addressing innovations that support the well-being of athletes.

We will examine the dichotomy between business demands and athlete welfare, celebrating methods or technologies that solve critical problems in sport. Each day is divided into two sessions focused on highlighting an athlete-centered perspective.

    DELEGATES CONFIRMED:

NCAA Sports Science Institute, Australian Sports Technologies Network, NFL's Atlanta Falcons, United States Olympic Committee, International Sports Engineering Association, Sports Technology Awards Group (UK), Georgia Tech Athletics, Professional Sports Technology Institute, and many others. *if your organization would like to contribute email info@istassociation.com

    TENTATIVE AGENDA:

Both days we will break up the discussions into two tracks with 14 speakers and a variety of discussion formats. (TBD)

    900-1130am

Morning Session: Challenges in Balancing Technology Growth With Business or Athlete Demands

    130-400pm

Afternoon Session: Challenges in Applying Sports Technologies to Athlete, Trainer, Analyst, and Coaching Roles

*A special dinner is available on Monday, March 4th. We expect the dinner to sell out. We have also allocated ample time for quality relationship building.

Attendee’s represent the region’s leading innovators interested in sharing best practices to influence ethical and responsible technology applications.

As always, the design of our events are to increase collaboration between amateur, collegiate, professional, and elite sport regarding the challenges in applying design innovations, connected equipment, sensors or electronics, and software innovations in sport.
